The tattoo industry is growing at a rapid pace. Every day people are becoming more open to the idea of getting tattoos and more and more people are becoming apprentices and tattoo artists.

When an industry is growing and slowly becoming over-saturated, finding a way to stand out is very important.

What can you offer that other artists don’t?

In this post, I’ll discuss why I believe having a strong video identity is key when it comes to gaining clients and standing out in the tattoo industry and how you can do that.

Visual identity is more than just your face, your logo or the colours you use—it’s the essence of your brand, the visual representation of your unique tattooing style and personality.

A strong visual identity helps you stand out in a crowded market, making it easier for clients to recognize and remember your work, that is called ‘Brand Recognition’.

A cohesive visual identity conveys professionalism and expertise, making you easier to trust and sparks confidence in potential clients.

In a competitive industry, a distinct visual identity sets you apart from other tattoo artists and helps you carve out your niche.

Having a strong visual identity not only depends on but also shows that you have consistency in your visual branding, which builds credibility and reinforces your message, leading to stronger brand recognition and loyalty.

Your visual identity should resonate with your target audience, which draws them in and compels them to engage with your work.
